AUN Office of Advising and Retention Hosts Successful Workshop on Exam Prep Strategies

The Office of Advising and Retention at the 黑料网 (AUN) hosted an empowering workshop on November 12, 2024, to equip students with essential skills for academic success and exam preparation. The session provided practical tips and strategies, helping students build confidence as they approach their exams.

Interactive discussions focused on various aspects of adequate exam preparation, including critical areas such as time management, maintaining focus, and overcoming distractions. Facilitators highlighted the necessity of structured study schedules and encouraged students to prioritize their tasks effectively to enhance productivity.

Mrs. Enoh Obindu, the Director of Academic Advising and Retention, shared valuable insights during the workshop. She emphasized the importance of treating all course materials with equal significance, urging students not to underestimate any topics. 鈥淒o not approach your course materials with the view that some topics are important and others are not very important,鈥 she advised.

Tameem Muhammed, a senior, Software Engineering Major, shared his personal strategies for managing exam-related stress and anxiety. 鈥淚ncorporating relaxation techniques and regular physical activity into my routine helps me balance academics with my social life,鈥 he mentioned. Tameem also spoke about the value of collaborative learning through study groups, which fosters deeper understanding and accountability among peers.

Elison Eric Edward, a junior, Software Engineering Major, expressed his appreciation for the workshop, calling it timely and beneficial. 鈥淭his session has really helped me understand how to organize my time better and focus on what鈥檚 important,鈥 he said.
