Alum Faith Biyapo Named Among 100 Influential Young Africans in Canada

AUN Alum Mr. Faith Biyapo has recently been named among the 100 Under-40s Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD). He currently resides and works in Canada and is the Regional Manager of Black Community Business Development for the T.D. Bank Group.

One of our most outstanding students and a recipient of AUN's Academic Excellence Merit Scholarship, Mr. Faith Biyapo graduated with University Honors in Economics. He also received the President's Outstanding Academic Performance Medal with a GPA of 3.94 out of 4.0 and several President's and Dean's Academic Performance Honors.

Faith attended conferences and symposiums at AUN, the 5th Nigerian International Model U.N. Conference, Abuja, Nigeria; the 2nd Global Model U.N. Conference, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and National Model U.N. Conference, Washington, DC.

He was also active in extracurricular activities belonging to the Honor Society and was elected to serve as a Senator with the SGA. He belonged to the Economics Club, International Relations Club, and Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE - ENACTUS) and participated in numerous community service activities.

He holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) Economics from the University of Ottawa, Canada.
